Rock Steady Boxing - Charlotte
Fight Back Against Parkinson's Disease
Almost a decade ago, Kelly Evans began working with his first client with Parkinson's. About the same time a news show aired a segment on the benefits that non-contact boxing had on Parkinson's symptoms. Immediately after the show, Kelly utilized his martial arts background and began incorporating focus mitts into his client's training sessions. The success Kelly was seeing pushed him to dig for more information on the correlation between boxing and Parkinson's symptoms. This is when he found the Rock Steady Boxing Program! Shortly thereafter, Kelly became a Certified RSB Coach and Just Workout became the first Charlotte area RSB Affiliate location!
